10 Questions – 10 Answers

– Where would you like to wake up tomorrow morning?

– Over 2000 meters, on a mountain top covered by snow – in such a chilled environment. I imagine the cat purring beside me, and how the smell of burnt wood and freshly grained coffee makes it easier to wake up. The setting sun paints the landscape blue and orange. Super cheesy.

– Can you name a book, a movie, a piece or a song, which you think is about you?

– I would not mind Tim Burton’s Big Fish to act as a representation of my life, however currently it only reflects my aspirations.

– What was your greatest rebellion as a teenager?

– Tearing apart my letter of acceptance to the law school of ELTE. I did it in front of my mom in order to demonstrate how capable I am, and how much I do not want to act upon this potential. The overall scene was pretty ugly and pathetic.

– What would you do, if you wouldn’t be doing what you do now?

– Keep fencing until I win some medals at the Olympics, then enroll the medical school to become either a neurologist or a traumatologist. Basically, becoming someone who never questions the aim and the value of her own profession(s).

– What year would you type into a time machine, and why?

– I am curious of the pre-revolution atmosphere of the ‘50s Hungary and the arrival of the Māoris to the untouched land of New Zealand. Moments of turns or transition.

– What are the first three items on your bucket list?

– Iceland, motherhood and learning German.

– What ’superficial’ things do you waste your time with?

– With this interview, for instance.

– When and how do you get your best ideas?

– Often when I am not in search of them. In a half-asleep state while snoozing my phone, and also while taking shower.

– Is there one fact about you, which would surprise others if they would know it?

– I barely spend a day without crying and washing my hair.

– How do you see yourself in ten years?

– As someone who remembers and appreciates the person who was not into answering this question 10 years ago.
